Do The Ton Spring Thaw

Well 2074 KMs 1244 same distance as Troys was basically. If I ride 2 full days, Cage 1.5. I would need time off to do it so I may not have that in the spring. We'll see. if it can be over the easter weekend I would get a free day or May 18th-20th is a long weekend for me. But don't mess with dates for me, I am used to having to ride a shitload of miles to get to any of the GTG. I'll keep it in mind but Mid-Ohio and Barber are more likely for me.

Cheers

As much as I enjoyed meeting a lot of you guys at Mid-Ohio, and as much fun as Barber looked, I will definitely try to make a spring thing. I'm already plotting a way to be at Barber next year too!

Count us in! At least Jenn and I, and maybe the little guy too.

I am definitely interested! It's been years since I have been to the Gorge! Like Keith said its only about 3.5 hours from Indy!

I am planning for Rust Revival to attend the Meltdown show if I can secure a booth space. I have also seen where a couple other guys are doing the Georgia run so I will def work around those. Just trying to see how many people are interested and how big of a space I need to be looking at.

There is a large motorcycle show here in Baltimore in February. The Lowside boys have an entire building. You should come out and set up a booth.

I'd love to man! My plan this year is to hit several of the vintage shows to push the Rust Revival brand. Barber being on the top of that list :)

I'll post up a couple dates after the holidays, probably in May. We will lock one down after that and then see how many takers. Depending on how many, I can get a cabin that sleeps 15 or a lodge that sleeps 65!

My best friend and I are down! We're all way down in Wilmington, NC.

Should take us about 9hrs to get there

Spring Thaw update! Gonna head down to the Gorge this week and check out a couple of spots. One that we are really interested in allows camping on the property where the cabin is. That way if there are people that decide late or can't make a decision right away, they will still have a space.

As for the date, I appreciate everyones emails and messages regarding the other events going down. After checking them all out we are focusing on the 3rd weekend in May.

I hope I can make it. It'll be a haul for me.

Sorry to threadjack here, but as an alternative for those here in the south east, we put on a pretty darn good cafe show here in Western NC in the spring.
http://www.meltdownvintage.com/

Its a free show with a focus on pre 1980 bikes and all cafe racers. Last year, our first year, we had about 200 bikes in the show and that many more as spectators. There where a handful of DTT Triangle guys there as well as groups from Knoxville, Asheville, Greenville, Raleigh/Durham, Charleston and ATL. We'd love to have you guys come out for the show and enjoy some of the best riding on the east coast. You can also check us out on FB.

Heres the thread I started for last years show. I added some pics of the event.

Guess I need to sart one for this year.

Anyways, sorry to hijack, hope to see y'all soon!

I am actually putting a booth up at the Meltdown show. Rust Revival will be hitting as many of these up as possible this year!

If I ride from Michigan to Alabama, you'd better believe I can ride Michigan to Kentucky.
