Those are the same carbs I have as well. How were they to tune?

i'm coming down to the end of this bike, and i love your brake light
where might I source one? just considering options for lights that would mount in that same fashion and be DOT approved.
thanks all, very good motivation in here
look forward to my build thread... finishing up and documenting in the next month or so. ready to shake the poser feeling :3
Notlob, if you aren't a registered user to CB110F.net you can't gain access to forum posts... and getting registered proved to be a bitch for me. After 3 attemps with no replys to my requests.notlob said:Go here www.cb1100f.net and do a search for BST36 or 38 or carb swap. Loads of info available.
Yes, I'm very happy with the look of the new gauge angle. I need to "tweek" the mount a little to bring the speedo / tach in closer to the center idiot light pod, right now they are splayed out since the mount is effectivly upside-down. I'll post a pic soon of the new look.notlob said:HD...
The gauges look far better mounted lower, soon be finished???

I finally said screw it and joined www.CB750C.com for their vast technical knowledge but was put off by a couple of the mods attitudes, Then found a new forum starting up, http://honda-cb750-s.456789.n3.nabble.com/ Very happy with the quality of members and it is growing leaps and bounds...
But enough about them, lets talk about me! ;D Here is a recent pic of my DOHC project, most here are following my build thread and I really appreciate the attention and assistance! Since the pic I have flipped the gauge mount upside down so it mounts from the bottom to lower the clocks and am much happier with the look. LAtest task is tackling the carbs with a Randakks Master O/H kit.
CarbsAndCylinders said:luv how your DOCH is turning out. I have some DOCH's as well and am on the CB1100F site, lots of great info and a bit of snarleyness. Some of them have no time for Café's and don't ask about putting Pods on your CV carbs.
seviston said:That's funny, cause they all hate Pods on Honda CV carbs over on 1100f.net! I am not sure why? My jetted 82 900f runs perfectly with pods.

I was hoping to do a build thread but right after I started the build I lost all of my earlier tear down pictures to a hacker and now that computer is a paperweight.
What the frame looks like now. That's Lolly Pop Candy Red. ;D
Here are the front and rear wheels.
And an engine cover teaser!

One thing I noticed is how rusted the starter cover is... odd... mines aluminum ???
