So I do a lot of event design in my day job and it hit me the other day while I was creating banners for an event that I should do some for my workshop.

I'm into vintage advertising etc and I'm in the process of working up some DTT/Cafe Racer/Vintage moto shop banners. I have them printed locally in on high quality 15oz blackout matte vinyl. Grommets in the corners and top edge.

Just looking to see if there would be interested in these here.

6'0" x 2'6" would run $75 shipped in the ConUs. (quite large, but might do some smaller ones too.)

This is just a feeler to see if others are interested as the more I print, the cheaper it could get.

Not sure. If you don't mind it being folded and stuffed in a box, it shouldn't be too bad. Folding creates creases, but they fall out with sun/heat and time.

Ideally it's rolled and put in a tube, or wrapped in brown paper. I'll get a more accurate quote to Canada though once I get something created.

Now that a few people are interested I'll work up a few options and see what we can do.

Artwork is on the way - I'd sure like to see some updated designs. I did our current run of show banners years ago, culling pics from the site and creating the mosaic checkerboard out of them. We have 3 banners in circulation now (one 12 x 3 and two 4 x 8) and we used all three in Alabama.

Of course no need to put DTT on them anywhere - might be cool to have some supplemental smaller banners to use along with the site banners, and of course for our shops.

Can't wait to see what you come up with!

Sweet! Thanks Tim! I hope to carve out time tomorrow to finish the one I'm working on now. The other ideas next week.

I'd skip the 2007 bit. If it had been 1907 that would be cool :) So we'll add that in 2107 when we're 100 years old. I'll mention it in my will.
