id say just go get your bike, take it home remove tire, if he has the new rubber buy it off him and bring rubber and rim to a tire shop and have them put it on.

Yeah, he was instrumental in helping seaweb11 resolve his recent issues on the sohc4 forum. ;D

was it resolved? after like 5 thousand pages i stopped reading :D

It was resolved, but it was quite painful for the accused. In the end, intimate details of his life were exposed (along with a picture of his man crank that he posted in an adult friend finder site), and his reputation had pretty much been destroyed. A new term has also been going around the sohc4 forum. If you are getting screwed for some reason, you are being 'Brimmered' :D :D :D :D

rphill, you are getting Brimmered. I hope it works out for you bro.

i called them again today to see what was up...they said the tire came in and it was the next bike to be put up on the rack. i asked him when it would be done and he told me to call back tomorrow morning...and i will

she's home

....still not running...by its home and has some new shoes. the guy didnt do my brakes like i asked, and he left them disconnected so when i went to roll it off the truck, i was unpleasantly surprised by the weight of the beast overtaking me when i squeezed the brakes and nothing happened...but i didnt drop her. anyway with my dad and i and an OHM meter and some patience we'll have her on the road again soon i hope. I'm going to be asking a lot of questions so be prepared to answer some rookie questions.

and in case you're all wondering, throughout this whole ordeal with waiting and waiting, he only charged me for the tires. I was pleasantly surprised at that one.

oh and some good news...when the switch shorted on the handlebars and smoked...it blew the fuse and didnt ruin the wire itself. phew

Care to elaborate? ;D

no

just kidding. i got a kill switch for it yesterday afternoon, had it installed in 5 minutes, popped in a new fuse and bam she fired right up....well she fired right up after i tried for 20 minutes with nothing more than the occassional BAM! BAM! backfire. now all i need to do it hook the clutch, signals, and rear blinkers back up and i'll be good to go!
