Been Around the Block
So, the more I think about how I will paint my XS when it's ready for the task (still a ways off), the harder it is becoming to not go with green. When I started the project, I was pretty much set on the more modern Yamaha blue, but only because I'm not a fan of the yellow from the '70's Yamahas. I still plan on some version of the "film strip" design with black & white, but I've got a specific green in mind. Something like this...
Now...I am not, nor have I ever been, one to be superstitious. I'm also not going to be swayed by anyone's opinion why I should or shouldn't do it. I've read some of the reasons why the color became superstitious. I'm just curious what others with green bikes have experienced. Any stories to share about your green machine, photos, specific reasons why you chose to go green, etc...
Cheers,
-Jeff
