you gotta plan it out and stagger the cuts
at this point then yer gonna have ta get some good shrink tube and do solderd wire splices that are just as skinny as the wire was
cover it nice with one layer of good quality shrink tube

Habah freight and radio shock are your friends here HF fo shrink tube and RS for solder and iron, get the package deal on the iron, comes with a stand, solder sucker and nice box to store it all in.

Found that superior solution. New controls with wiring :)

Nicely done. Those are some LONG soldered joints. Don't be like those videos please. I make custom medical cables for a day job and I'd be thrown out of I did one like that....ha! Your new solution is a good one, and that bike is looking great so far! Good pic.

ok having trouble identifying this port. Cant seem to find what it is in the service manual either. Any clues?

Iz that what your air box looks like.... leme see it!

Here is my set up. The breather from the valve cover goes to the bottom of the air box so im still lost as to what that tube is

Here's my thought currently as we can't see the other side of the airbox. The drawing says it goes about where I put the green line.

EDIT. Shamelessly stole this screenshot from SOHC forums. http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php?topic=57465.0

Yes my airbox does have the valve cover breather by where the green line is. However I thought no air was allowed to pass through the carburators without having first gone through the air filter. Wouldn't a drain in the plenum allow unfiltered air to pass through and even effect my fuel/air ratio?

And it needs to be pinched like that once and a while to break up the dirt settlement or it will eventually fill with water.

Typically it's low and out of the way. Plus if you see the pics that guy has, it's capped off with a small slit in the cap to allow any water/sediment of any sort to get out. It's not enough air to "suck" anything through. As for the one on the FRONT piece, just cap that bad boy and you should be fine. If you want to create a drain thing for it, might not be a terrible idea...as it IS there for a reason according to Honda Engineering at the time...

EDIT. I see you are just talking about the Plenum one. Just read the last bit above then ^ 8)
