The smartest thing I've done is hang out with smart, talented guys! ;D Also, sometimes things just "fall the right way"! 8) You've gotta be a little lucky to get the good deals and sometimes these bits just fall into your lap! Other times though, I pay too much!! Having to pay for what you want really slows the progress!
With these pipes, my buddy who built them got sick before he could finish them. Now I'm left with the task of hooking up with another friend to finish them off. The challenge there is finding the time to connect with him to get it done. This might take couple of weeks to do. It all takes time, but I've learned through this and other projects that it'll be worth it in the end. 8)

Normally I'm all about visible welds and heat markout, but the othe day I went to buys some bits for a project and there was a kat with a nice Rd350. He had fabricated chambers and they looks like yours do except that he had them bead blasted and nickel plated.
Holy crap did that look great! I think you should have yours done too...so sweet!

Ya, we have a couple of sets that have been done and they DO look good! This machine is all about the "Industrial Metal" look though! ;D Just slop on some "Mop & Glow" and hit the road! ;D
It could be done later though! We'll see!

Man, it doesn't take long to be shuffled to the middle of page 7 of the Projects section!!
Well, we got some work done on the pipes last Saturday.
Check it out! ;D
I need to fab up and weld brackets for the rearsets so we can locate tabs for the rear of the pipes. Once that's done, the pipes will be ready for the silencers and the rest of the details can be checked off one at a time!! ;D

Nope. What you see is what I've got! The seat isn't done yet. It's one of those "things" that's started but not done!
There are a lot of significant items and details yet to be sorted. All in due time!

The pipes look great, I had Walms make some cones for me also, and hope to weld up some similar pipes for mine soon...

I love those chambers and agree with that guy ^^^ we need updates. I am also glad to see that that tracy bodywork has left the building.

Well Lads, there HAS been some work done on the old Kaw!

You'll see the pipes from both sides, the rear sets, pipe hangers and the new side stand in the last pic.
