Progress is progress! Lookin' good Drewski!

Thanks! :) Progress has been slow but now we seemto have some momentum! :)

Here's a couple more shots of the pipes, silencers, etc.

We still have to finish the rear sets and linkages. Once that gets done, it comes back to my place for final assembly details and a stab at the kicker!! Can't wait for that day!! :D

I love those chambers and agree with that guy ^^^ we need updates. I am also glad to see that that tracy bodywork has left the building.

It's not totally out of the picture, but the Tracy Body is an "aquired taste". ::)

I'm "from that 70's era" so it reminds me of when I was a teen and falling in love with Kawi's in a big way! 8)

I haven't given up on the Tracy altogether though! It might be back on another project down the road! ;) :D

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **July 2010**

Well, it's been awhile. :(

But I haven't been totally sitting still on this Project! :)

The general look and feel are what I want. The execution of some of the details need to be changed and some have yet to be completed. Once the electrical and oil tank and lines are back in place, I'll try to spark her to life. Time is hard to come by right now, so be patient with me please! ;D

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

looking good, would change the angle of the footlevers for sure tho.

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

Lookin' good Dreswki! Only things I'd do would be drop the ehadlight a bit to bring the line of the bike down, and brace those silencers so the manifolds don't crack. My guess is that those are on the 'to do' list already :D

Cheers - boingk

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

Thanks guys! :)

The headlight will be dropped and the rear brake and shift lever angles do need to be changed too! Very good observational skills! ;D

I'll try to get some detail pics up next week. :D

Thanks! I build 'em my way, for me. It's cool when others like the same things. 8)

I'll do my best to live up to your expectations!! :D

Are those WTF pipes or did you build them? They look awesome BTW.

Yup, WTF "Originals"!! Haha! Walms sweated over this design for a few days! 8)

A number of folks have had a hand in the execution of the chambers to date, and we're not done yet! I believe they can be tucked in a little tighter. I can use all the ground clearance I can get! ::)

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

I thought I recognized them from KTW and Walms handiwork. Some of his renders are amazing.

Lots more on KTC, where WTF's Rule!! :D :D

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

We had some chain clearance "issues" around the pipes. ::) Solved the problems with a chain tensioner wheel. It's solid, not a spring loaded model.

Still trying to find the time to finish this thing and kick it to life! :p Soon I hope! 8)

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

Should help keep the rear end from unloading if you close the throttle quickly too, neato!

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

Pretty scary how far away the sprocket is from the swingarm pivot...Ahhh, the 70's ;D

Let us know how the roller goes - my gut feeling it it will wear out pretty quick if it is on a solid mount. The DR750's had a solid mount roller on the top of the chain and they wore out quite fast (buddy of mine had one and he was constantly changing them out with roller skate wheels ;))

Ya, my understanding is that the top of the chain is the "power" side and there is where you'll get the most wear. With the roller wheel on the bottom, not so much! ???

My KZ has the same set up and has worked nicely for the last 3 seasons. :)

Re: Kawasaki H2 750 Triple **Fall 2010 Update**

Drew, anything going on with the H2? I'm always curious as to the handling of the finished product, because the originals were so bad so often. Hope you're able to get out on it soon.
