Yeah - looks good......but I don't think those zip ties have much of a chance of staying put... ;D

I agree on both counts... You need to use some hose clamps or something metal at least.

whoa dudes! zip ties are temporary, no worries!

Johnny, I've not been on in a while, but damn dude -- nice work!!! I'm glad the bucket is getting some use too. Good on ya!

yeah, i'm pretty happy with it. :)

with the wrap on there the clamp that helps hold the pipes in place (you can see the back of it a couple inches to the left of the end of the top pipe)
doesn't fit. i'm thinking that with the weight of the mufflers gone that it should be ok with out it...

what do you guys think?

Good question on that support for the pipes. I left mine on and painted it flat black so it pretty much disappears. I know Mysta2 and others have been successfull running CL pipes w/o the support so I guess it's your call. I have added a pair of the Emgo shorty mufflers to mine but they aren't very heavy; I guess I just decided I didn't mind the thing being there. Cory

i wouldn't mind it being there either but the wrap is thick enough that i can't get the bolt at the right angle to thread in and attach the outer support...

Re: Lazarus - 1975 Cl360 - (headers wrapped, video!)

bike quit idling for me yesterday. grr. spark plugs look nice and tan. battery is full. got new points maybe six months ago. most of the trouble on this bike has come from the carbs so i'm kind of assuming that's what's up. i'm tempted to just order some mikunis from DCC. those are a single cable carb right? does that mean i'd need a new throttle assembly?

Re: Lazarus - 1975 Cl360 - (headers wrapped, video!)

Please post some pics of those Emgo shorties on your pipes, that sounds like it would look awesome!!!!!!

Hmmm that sounds familiar. Have any interest in some rides up north this summer?
We should get some rides going in Seattle. Looks like the first Backfire is slated for March 16th, which is ironically my birthday, so I've given myself that deadline. I'll see you guys there

Re: Lazarus - 1975 Cl360 - (headers wrapped, video!)

Would you mind going through the carbs and documenting the jetting in it? I know there are several guys that would like to know a good starting point on getting them dialed in for the 360's

Re: Lazarus - 1975 Cl360 - (mikunis arrived!)

What size carbs did you get? I found a pair of Mikuni 28s for free and im wondering how well they will work. If they dont work out i might try something similar to yours.

Re: Lazarus - 1975 Cl360 - (mikunis arrived!)

completly of topic butt i couldint help to notice you had two bikes you dont happen to have an extra set of cl pipes laying around that you would like to unload?

they're 30s, from what i've read 28s should work great.

Looks like I'm a little late to the party ::) .

Those headlight ears look fantastic! Do you still have those other headlight fork ears? The one with the 3 holes. I want!

thanks! yeah i got them, the nut and bolt were super cheap and rusted all to hell so there's some rust on the ears but i'm sure they'd be easy to clean up. i can't remember where exactly you live... but you can totally swing by my place sometime and pick them up. they go for 15 bucks on ebay but since they're used and have the rust on them... i'd let them go for... two high fives. actually since we're both dtt members i'll just make it a fist bump.
