My first cafe build - CB360T

So, somehow I talked the wife into another build after the Ducati and managed to find a 74 cb360t locally in great shape. 13,000 miles, running fine, and little to no rust or corrosion. Here's a 'before' pic:

E far, I've been stripping her down, inventorying parts and getting ready to blow up some eBay/ton forum classifieds. Here are a few from the tear down.

In looking for inspiration I've been tearing the entire automotive / mechanical world apart. I knew I wanted a cafe type. This forum basically confirmed that. Now I'm looking for the style and specifics. A few points of inspiration so far.

Bare with me guys. I'm a complete newb to the forum and the style but I'm dying to learn. If you see me going the wrong way, PLEASE call me out on my idiocy and make fun of me until I get it right. If you're curious at all. Here was my first build (kinda) complete. 99 Ducati Monster m750. Super bike suspension, intake, exhaust, stripped to the basics, rewired, relit, tuned, and loved.

A few more tear down pics and a question.

Has anyone swapped out the cb550 front brakes on a 360? I picked up a caliper from a local only to find the bolt holes don't line up. Is it worth it to get the back half of the caliper and re-drill the 'swing arm' mount or should I go another direction? I've read about Zuke Katana forks swapping fairly easily.

And the parts pile is starting to grow. Anyone need some stock hardware?

550 caliper should be the same as 360, your sure it isn't a 750 one?

Honestly, I don't know. He said he thought it was a cb550. Might be a 750. Outer dimensions 'seem' the same but the bolt holes are slightly further apart. I'm thinking if I go back and get the other half then drill a little on the mount I should be good. Can you think of any other issues I might run in to?

So, when you guys are building on a new bike, do you set the tank every hour, or every half hour? Lol. Making vroom-vroom noises to myself.

Alright. This is where I'm leaving her tonight. I'm taking the week off so with any luck I'll make more progress over the next couple of days.

I make my own so don't have a link for fork brace, either take the original out of mudguard or check out Tarrozzi
I have 'orders' for a couple when I can stand to use machinery again
You'll have to scroll down for the various pics of the one I made for Brendon's bike

What do they look like, how much, and more importantly, how do we motivate you to machine?

I just added link to previous post, motivation isn't the problem, I had spinal fusion surgery on the 19th and need recovery time
