Ok so I got really frustrated with this bike and took a long break! I finally got the motivation to get back to it this past weekend! Also I picked up a pretty sweet looking vintage sewing machine over the weekend for $25...and my neighbor happened to throw a leather couch out in the curb, which I totally gutted and stole the cushions to attempt to sew a seat cover! Now I just need good ol grandma to teach me how to work the sewing machine!

Haven't done too much more...got the seat pan made and started trying to form the foam...having a hard time making it perfect, but I'm getting there. I'm going to visit my grandma after work today so she can give me some tips on how to sew with this sewing machine! Also I have been making a battery tray and a few other brackets that I will weld up this weekend at a friends house.

Ok so I wasn't inspired to work on this bike for basically the whole winter...way too cold! But spring is finally here and I picked up a Lincoln 140mig welder, and I'm back at it. I made a punch list of everything that needs to be done to have it running and rideable. Spent the whole weekend in the garage and I managed to get it way more organized and got some good progress done on the bike. Welded a bracket to the frame and got the seat mounted. Also I decided to go for it and attempt to weld my exhaust. I'm not a pro at all but I am pretty damn proud of how it came out. Still have to finish up the bracket. Question...is there any reason I can't connect the exhaust bracket to where the rear shock mounts?

Ps the welds may not be pretty but I will grind them down and they will be covered by heat wrap...

Ok so the punch out list is getting shorter everyday! Exhaust is all done and mounted. Seat is finally secured to the frame, and temporarily wrapped. Hope to have her started up by the weekend.

Lol I have a slight addiction to plaid shirts doesn't make me a hipster! It's just temporary until I get a chance to make it out of leather

Ok ok I like plaid shirts tattoos and I'm working on a pretty serious beard! Let's get pass the stereotypes and focus on the bike...any feedback on the exhaust? I was pretty impressed with how it turned out. Also I been trying to figure out my throttle cable, does anyone sell a 2-1 cable that it's already premade to fit a cb360 with vm30's. I was trying to figure out the universal cable, but I don't know what I'm supposed to cut it with.

My bike was standing straight up on the kickstand since I lowered to front end...I had a spare kickstand from some atoher bike laying around so I cut that bitch and made it work. The old kickstand also got in the way of the rearsets also, so took care it two bird with one stone.
