once again mate wicked build. how heavy will that spacer be will it effect rotation etc at all i have no idea about weights at all but will it change the balance or anything? cant wait to see her done and you must through up a vid of her flying.
Thanks guys !
Not sure of the diff but i know they seem to be real close to the point it shouldnt be a problem ! Going to be pulling it off to have the back trimed down so will check it out then and see the diff ;D
That puppy has to be at least a pound lighter than the stock disc.... Plus it's so close to the centerline of the wheel. My guess is zero effect on balance, but a meaningful step in the right direction regarding unsprung weight.
Just a small update : Got the rearset all done and painted ! Did mess with the exhaust and not throwing out the idea of making a 2 into 1 but as of now really liking where the pipes are ! Made new hangers for them out of Alum and have to i like it ! Will get pics of the Exhaust once its all buttoned up this weekend !
Did some riding this weekend with some of the Cleve guys . Still had some time to finish up the exhaust and make new mounts made up . Picked up a spare XS500c motor and stock headers from mike and matt which will be made into my 2into1 exhaust but for now going to run it like this.....
Don't know how I haven't noticed your build before, but I'm watching it now! Cant wait to see this in person. My first street bike was a purple 74. Loved it.
