Post a pic of your latest purchase

Thanks Tim, yeah they finally printed that piece...16 months after the interview!

Buckeye, I just sold my other bike, the Gulf build in my sig.

Surffly, I did a bunch of research on liter bikes over the past couple months, and despite its lack of electronic aids compared to the other Japanese offerings, I like how rounded and refined this one is. It practically rides itself. Such a blast to own.

Its hard to not get caught up in the whole spec wars thing when talking about new bikes or cars
I have felt that the honda was a good all around bike, and way better then I could ride anyway.
A lot of me is thinking that I need another liter bike for next year, I had a 05 ZX10r
I dont want a ton of electrical adds

For when you can't ride or wrench:

A history of the bike that helped me see the light and abandon the folly of four-strokes accompanied by a new book written by one of the best writers on motorcycling of all time.

Feeding the monomania!

Shit Ringo, did you forget about our trade agreement? The one where I have a nice, shiny Suzuki Tempter for the 550? :D

Good on ya though - hopefully you get more riding and less wrenching this season.

I just picked up a nice CL175 on Saturday from fellow DTT'er BuckeyeBike. It's a little rough around the edges but should be a great starting place. I'm planning on running it as a dirt bike for the rest of the season, then who knows.

Here's a pic after I brought her home yesterday.

CL175 Before

I cleaned her up today, ditched the plastics (not really my style),made a mount for a headlight (the stock ears were shaved) and painted a few small bits. Here's how she sits now.

Many thanks to Buckeye for letting go of such a nice project. And many thanks to DTT, who made this good buy possible!

Bran burner how bad/good is that front plastic surround/plate? I might be interested in that if you want to get rid of it at the right price...hint hint. :)

Hey Teazer. The front guard/plate is in okay condition. It had a small crack which the original owner ziptied and one of the mounting ears broke off. Here's a few more pics.

I'd get rid of it for shipping only, unless you have some 175 bits you'd like to trade ;D

New front brake master for the GL. The original shit the bed half way through my mid ohio trip. Started pissing brake fluid all over the bike and me, I made it home but most of the paint was gone from it and was at the min level for fluid. Happy B-Day to me. Came to $69.88 shipped to Maine next door. Would have been 150+ to get it here. Retarded shipping costs suck. Oh well, I'll pick it up and save on some gas and other stuff ;D

Not really a purchase but more a score. I live in a new neighbourhood with lots of construction on the go. A couple of months ago I fixed up one of the contractors bikes (Magna V30) and so I recently asked him to keep an eye out for scrap foam insulation. I like to use this stuff for fiberglass projects, so he dropped off a couple of sheets today and said he will bring more by as he gets it. :)

Barn- didn't realize there was a Confederate flag on the front, lol.

HD- nice, that stuff's expensive! I wanted a sheet to use as packing material for something I was shipping (can't even remember what) and was shocked at the $20 a sheet price tag.

Yeah I know. I need a fair bit for my next project so I'm real glad to stumble upon this. Just went out my front door and he had more put on the porch.
