I remeber those promises too, but when you see a good deal and you have the cash, you have to jump on it. otherwise i would have bought this bike next year and probably for over $1000.
I am no even going to bother with a build thread for this until I have more time. I just wanted to have it ready for when the time comes.

I may be picking up a CB750 in a couple of weeks too.

Just came in finally!!... modified sr500 oil pump body-housing..

Now I can replace the stock 3-bolt oil pump in the SR500 with this 5 bolt housing .. yeah!!

Ebay score: JL Audio 300/4 amp. Mock up of proposed amp rack. Played with the router a bit and cut on some 1/2" MDF. Plan some neon back lighting. The complete rack will include a JL Audio 500/1 monoblock sub amp and a cap in between the two amps. Center console will be the sub enclosure. Back wall of cab will be upholstered. The hunt continues on ebay for the elusive 500/1.

you can never have enough brakes!

those would be sweet on a smaller twin.... now all you have to do is make a rotor spacer and find a way to fit that caliper!
