Snagged this 1977 xs650 from the original owner, he was the nicest guy I have ever purchased a bike from. Never seen someone take such good care for a bike for that long.

I had the 81 GPZ 550 I bought new in 81, that was a real cafe racer out of the box! Those bikes are fun and handle quite well.

Not terribly close I am actually in Columbia, SC but my parents have a house near Batcave so I keep a close eye on the Asheville CL. I think we talked some at barber last year but I am not certain. Yeah I am hoping to make it to the melt down but we will see. Maybe the Raleigh Euro bike night as well.

That makes cab sync a less than 10 min job, it takes longer to remove tank, connect everything up than to get carbs right.
Make sure you remove screwdriver and blip throttle a few times to let hings settel into place
