Time to start practicing some seat upholstery! Old singer machine found on eBay.
How much did you pay for that machine by the way? My grandma use to have a alteration shop that she also bought sold and collected old singers and some of those styles can go for upwards of 3-400 without the cabinets.

the oft rumored 5 in a 4 speed case transmission case .

Re: Continental Conti Ultra TKV12... anyone dabbled with these?

Picked this up Sunday afternoon.. Miller econotig 170. Came with full tube of various types of rods, stand, tank, HF grinder for solely sharpening tungsten rods, foot pedal, and a whole slew of extra nozzles, tips, and tungsten rods. I think I stole it for the price

Long story short, a guy bought out a local bike dealer who sold modern Triumphs among others and the new guy sells only used bikes. The 'attic' was full of crap, including this stuff that is now in my garage :) Even some original Kawasaki JetSki wetsuits, lol. Triumph service manuals, Thruxton center stand, Daytona alarm system and lots of other bits. Even some cool Harley saddlebags.

Anyone recognize the orange fairing?

Pm'd you on the saddle bags.

I picked up a NOS Shoei black version of that orange fairing last year. Were you wanting to know the model, or just reminiscing?

Just got this for my wife and I for bike2bike comms, and bluetooth for audio and phone stuff. Doing a long trip end of the month. I'll report when I get a chance to test them. On sale at Cyclegear.

As for the new battery, not sure if it was damaged in shipping or not. May have to pursue a refund.

CC that makes 2-up long rides much better. I bought a cheap $12 set off ebay and they were great, I can imagine a nicer set being even better. My wife and I could ride and chat just like we were side by side in the car and I could tell her when I was getting ready to pass or take a turn agressive etc. and she could tell me if she needed me to stop. Let us know how that set works as the only flaw to my cheap set is it is cabled to on little box. The wireless version should be nice.

Looks like a Shoei FM2 fairing. It'll fit damn near anything as long as you have clamps for the handlebars. Mounts up just like any other handlebar and headlight fairing. You can pick 'em up NOS for about $100. How much do you want for it?

So far the bluetooth audio works well with my android phone. speaker/mic setup was a very easy install into our Shoei's. Setup for pairing the devices was really simple. We haven't had a chance to test on the road together yet but probably will this weekend. Tested helmet to helmet it in the house and quality was good for whatever that's worth. I know I'll run this even when riding alone for the music and phone capabilities.

Nothing major, just a hard to find seat for a kz550. At least, hard to find for me.. glad the search is over!
