Picked up an 81 CX500c today. Title and bike for $250. Needs CDI box, fork seals, battery, and carb clean. Two 81s in the garage!

Good Get Kraptastic. that's what I paid for mine and it had moss growing on it. Fork seals are easy if you put the seals in the freezer first overnight.
 
I did fork seals on my CB... They appear to be identical but for a leading axle on the CX. Considering swaps as we speak haha

Needs battery, carbs, wiring harness... I have my first project. Can't wait to get my hands dirty on her ;D

Congrats on the new bike, the smile says it all. If it is a '72 (actually a K4, not a T) then some of the parts on it don't look original (no disc brake on '72 only '73) and the pipes are off a CL. Not that any of that matters, but thought I'd mention it in case you are looking for parts. You can compare the frame number against the ones on this site to check what model it is:

OK could somebody please improve on this...
I have to get down to the dmv. happy birthday to me...license expires tomorrow. They open at 730 I only had like 5 minutes to spend on this.
