Post a pic of your latest purchase

I know right? Are the larger VM's, like the VM30, like this as well? Very cool feature.

Nope but they may have an oversize drain plug so you can use a 6~7mm socket.
Mikuni sells a special jet tool that fits inside the hole after drain is removed

Massive power increase!

Every little bit helps: 25cc extra to 150cc and 1mm larger intake and exhaust valves.

Crazy

Cool, the bigger valves will be a major improvement, before the kits were available (1977~78) we used to machine CB750 pistons to fit combustion chamber and get 145cc motors

It's not a purchase as such, but it wasn't cheap - just a new National Record for the STREET 490-740cc class last w/e at Indy

I'm in the Right lane on the Left of the picture.

Now I have to learn how to ride it faster before someone comes to claim it back.

Out-freakin-standing!!! 'grats Teazer ;)

How's that song go? - "Oops, I did it again . . ." At MidOhio Vintage Days and this gem was hiding in a trailer on a rainy Saturday AM. Absolutely was not looking for another bike, but simply could not pass it up. The fellow, great guy, spent four years on this Slimline Preunit:

I hate you buckeye. That's what rampant jealousy does to my good nature.

Pre-unit with revcounter timing cover and slickshift box, Ceriani forks, lightened "comical hub", sweptbacks, Lyta, works shocks, period style rear sets, K2F etc. Killer. Even has the clocks in the right place.

Does it still use a dynamo or does it have an alternator? Short primary cases or long? What barrels are those - they look like alloy fins?

Sweet

The fellow was a Triumph mechanic and raced T100s for years. Gem of a guy. I am trying to get him to do up the Wideline the same way . . .

Suzuki 4-shoe Water Buffalo front hub. Looks like a long primary, not sure on barrels. I think it is a dynamo. Also belt drive, dry primary.

The only bad part, he had a second identical complete front end minus rim that I could have gotten for $800.

Love the bike, no intention of riding it as it is rolling art.

Looks like the dynamo has been blanked off and those are alternator type primary covers. And I still hate you... :)

I had a couple of T100s and the 56 all alloy close fin motor was so much better looking than any of the unit twins. I had a race kit (GP style) inlet with chopped monoblocs and 3134s and so on. Great bike, but brakes and handling left a little to be desired.

That one is very nice.

Saw this beauty this weekend. Darn...we REALLY should have all met up.

I am just speachless...
Really can not get over finding a bike like that for sale...
AND being able to bring it home ....
Especially when you already HAVE one awesome Triton!
Lucky, lucky man.
