Post a pic of your latest purchase

Not as impressive as a fully built one, but I got an oil tank for my Norton.

such a sleeper! I bet the guy in the other lane was like what the ?!!!$$)(

Nah,

The other guy is a friend that I have known through the miracle of the interwebs for a few years now. In fact it's his old Jemco pipes on my bike for that weekend. He runs a different (faster) class and makes a truckload more HP and runs a wheelie bars and a huge fat slick. Mine has stock CV carbs and UNI filters or stacks and is pretty much stock or at least that's my story...

Thanks Hoosier . . . It was hard to contain my excitement- I think the fellow who put it together was pleased that it went to a good home. He saw the little Ducati that I dragged up to the event- I told him I rescued it from being ragged out on the race track and even as a former racer he seemed pleased.

Yeah, I have to pinch myself now and again- the right bikes are great investments . . .

My swapmeet find out at Mid-Ohio.

DT250....year....maybe 74...75... no clue yet. I need to apply for the title here in Indy... waiting to see what Mark a few pages back was able to accomplish.

that looks killer mate, do I see a future dirt tracker project.

Nothing too exciting, considering all the stuff up for grabs at M-O this year. No mint Triton or crusty DT250 for me. :p :) However, I did find much needed oil filters, a replacement crankcase breather filter, a new stainless engine bolt kit and the obligatory t-shirt. ;) :D

Hey Killman,

That helmet is the slightly infamous Ruby Pavillon Concorde. If you haven't heard of Ruby, they're a small helmet maker operating in Paris France and... honestly? They're way too overpriced.

They're standard 3/4 helmets that have been manufactured to incredibly high standards of fit and finish. Basically, the carbon is supposedly world-class, the clearcoat is like a mirror, and the interior padding is supposed to be some kind of leather made from the tanned skin of a Unicorn or something.

They charge anywhere from $900-1100 depending on options and finish and all that jazz, so yeah. Way too much money in my opinion.

The only reason I bought it was because I got it at a really low price (for what it is) and if I didn't buy it now I would never ever own one.

I saw these in a store in Paris once last year and they really are just completely beautiful pieces of workmanship... I'll give them that much.

I'll post some real photos of it when it arrives on Thursday.

My helmet is no Ruby but I got some gringo love!!!
