4eyes- Do you have more pictures of that orange tank? My TX500 tank is being professionally painted in the 2013 Jeep Orange Crush color as I speak. I did this because Orange is just damn cool and you don't see many tanks in that color.

Ahhh, Craigslist.

1959 BMW R60 from the original owner (yes, original owner) with 8100 original miles, and paint. Appears to be correct and all there. The fellow, an engineer, bought it new and used it at his lake house in Wisconsin. He is 81 and his family decided it was time to sell it to keep him from getting hurt. I was the lucky one to reply to the ad first- lots of others in line behind me. I gladly bought it. The tire pump and horn were missing . . . until I got a box of misc. small parts along with the title from the owner's daughter ;D

Did a quick clean up, will spend a bit more time soon. Starts, runs, shifts, rides, etc.

I am looking for a solo seat, other than that, it will be as seen below:

You suck buckeye! I can handle the Tritons and Ducs, etc. but consider me green with envy.

Congratulations bud, she's a beaut!

Thanks! I love the frame- so unique. Cool little bike. If you happen to run across a solo seat, let me know, love that look.

Buckeye, from my buddy who owns one, Corbin is the way to go for /2 solos. He says they blow the Denfeld's away in comfort. Pretty too.

Damn it buckeye! Here I was telling myself "self, it's okay that he finds all these awesome bikes, he probably spent a ton of money on that Beemer"
Only to find out you got it for less than 450!?

Whew I was having a jealous fit!
Which is only slightly lessened now haha.

Seriously though, awesome score I hope you ride the wheels off it

Kanticoy, I will look into the Corbin. A seller on ebay wants $450 for a Denfeld- that's more than I paid for the bike!

DAMN!!! I really hate you now!! I have never really liked the BMW bikes but the older ones are starting to grow on me... And for under 450 bucks!! Geebus, I'm getting sick right now.

A few weeks ago when I took my kids to the zoo we spotted this one sitting in the grass under a tree and I stopped with him to take some pics. Caught me off guard, I wasn't at a bike show or anything, at the ZOO!! I was stunned and amazed. Such an awesome bike in an unexpected place. I have more pics of it too but here are a few good ones... He loves bikes already too! ;)
Also just watched this one end on ebay the other day     http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-R68-1953-Half-Hub-model-/290957737012?_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&forcev4exp=true#ht_500wt_1022

Before anyone else has a heart attack, I have it on good authority the R60 cost an order of magnitude more than $450.

I am so confused... Maybe my head is reeling from the constant blows from the awesome bikes buckeye always slams it with. :)
