Post a pic of your latest purchase

I stopped checking craigslist as I rarely had enough cash to get real good deals I saw

A nice clean '97 with fairly low miles....

I mean I literally check Craigslist 10 times daily sometimes more and I could not hope to come across as many bikes as you do haha.
Maybe it's because of location

Yes I am sure it is partly because of my location. However on the downside the prices here are MUCH higher than most of the country. Everyone thinks that their piece of shit is an all original H2 and they want THOUSANDS of dollars.

If you want, shoot me a PM and I might be able to give you a couple ideas, that you may or may not have thought of before, when it comes to searching for bikes.

My buddy on the other hand lives in the midwest, and he buys 7+ bikes out there pretty darn cheap, restores them, then drives to Los Angeles and spends a month or two selling them.

Dunev the F may stand for Fiddy, like 3Fiddy.
Joking aside, are you on a quest to buy every old bike in your area?

I was thinking the F stood for First ever so.... it would be priceless!! ;D

If I had more money, I would do my best to buy every bike in LA. For the moment I have to stick with finding the best deals in LA ha ha.

Yesterday I turned 21. Nothing big was planned so I just went out to eat with a few friends and bought myself a beer.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

You have successfully made everyone on DTT feel old ;D

Dunev- That was never my intention! And thanks.

Yinzer- Thanks dude. It's been downhill this year leading up more than any year past. The funny(non-manly) thing is, I'm not really a huge beer fan. I just figured it was the standard/cliche thing for me to accomplish.

Less a purchase and more of a trade 'cause thats how we do. Seemingly handmade. Date of origin unkonown. Needs a fill neck welded in. Guess I have to build another chopper. That CL450 should do fine.

Thanks guys.

Congratulations!

Are you sure that's a beer? The photo looks more like orange juice.

Crazy

It's a Blue Moon. Note above when I said I'm not much of a beer fan. I like liquor, it's straight to the point. But I do like orange juice as well ;) haha

I also like other "stuff" over drinking. But it's not legal here in Ohio (yet), so I'll just allude to it..

Thats a cool looking tank! Tiny, but cool

YES! Got it from a guy in Manitoba near Saskatchewan who had posted it for sale 2 months ago, but thanks to Google archiving I found it and got in contact. It's making its way to me via Winnipeg, and it's coming from an A1 guy who will have a bike featured in Cycle Canada in an upcoming issue.
