Post a pic of your latest purchase

Picked this one up 4/7/14. Commuter/daily, fun bike until the 98 full custom is finished. Then the "new" one becomes commuter/daily and weekend back up bike.

2003 LS650. 7185 miles on it. Going to change the seat and bags, have to do a full lube/adjust/bolt sequence on it.

Came with 2 new tires and tubes, saddlebags, newer mirrors (getting swapped for something else), small luggage rack, small crash bar with highway pegs.

Bought from a friend on the Savage forum. His wife (in the pic) made a special trip home from work to see it one last time before I picked it up...

Only if it is the rigid frame conversion... I can't stand the "cafe" version, the Scrambler version is okay but kind of boring. And the rigid frame section would end up on my 98 LS650 that is already modded to the point you can barely tell what it started out as...

David at Voodoo Vintage started out by making rigid frames for the LS650. This is a pic of what one guy did.

My new lid! Fly Racing is producing these fiberglass/kevlar/carbon fiber helmets at ridiculously low prices. I scored this on fleabay for less than half of what they are going for. The graphics aren't as aggressive as I'm used to, but it is an astounding helmet.

That's about the nicest looking truing stand I've ever seen. Is it purpose built for that or was it something else in an earlier life?

just checked these out on revzilla or whatever and man the solid colors are only $120!! I was going to buy a gringo as my current pair of helmets are approaching 10 years and I primarily just ride around town but even those are more than that Fly.

I've never paid under $200 for a helmet in my life. I researched Fly and found they didn't just go the polycarbonate route and used their experience building mx lids in designing this line. They could easily sell these for $600-800. I like what I see. It fits well, has huge air vents, is light, and I'm hoping fairly quiet.
