I bought some knee pads. In typical British bike fashion I had to do a bit of work to get them to fit properly.
Very nice, let's see the rest of the bike!

Nice, resto/mod with the disc brakes. What's up with the engine? Stock? Hot-rod?

Shot over to The Salt Lick as soon as I got to Austin. 10/10 for that place.

That's the one.

The pops and I have traveled all over the country to bbq joints. That was by far the best brisket I've had.

Yep, Resto/MOD, more focus on the mod. I have an ex500 engine I will be fitting as A10 engines are rare around me and are parted out as soon as they are found.

CB350. Irk says it has an XL front end?

$500 and runs, but no lights and no title.

Plans are to get the paperwork sorted, get it street legal, and use it as a test bed for some upcoming products.

Nothing so spectacular as a complete bike. A couple of months ago I was offered a 1988 Godden 500 speedway engine at the right price. Being a lover of singles its home with me now. Last Friday I went to look at a 1982 Otto Lantenhammer built Weslake. Very little use and unmolested. The seller is impeccable It hasn't been fired up since 1982. A bit scruffy on the outside from sitting almost 38 years but lift off the valve cover and its like a jewel! To say I'm a happy puppy is an unserstatement.

I've long wanted to own a Yamaha tw200, but every time I've found one for sale, people tend to be pretty proud of them and ask what is in my opinion a little bit too much money for a long production run small CC bike. That is until today when my harmless Facebook Marketplace search turned into a spur of the moment 4 Hour round trip after work to go pick this gem up. It's a 1987 model that has been robbed of a few parts by the previous owner to keep another tw200 on the road. Since it's incomplete, I don't feel too horrible about some minor customization to turn it into a neat and quirky little trail bike
