quote from Beard via email update:
im quite interested in the details of this .460 weatherby at 800 yards.. i have never heard of such a thing. What grain are you using and what is the drop at 800 yards.. its gotta be in the 20 ft+ range?

If I remember correctly the 460 W-Mags are in the 500grain range and something like 2500fps/7000lb@ muzzle? Does that sound right? I'll have ot look it up. Frankly I only shot the vile thing 7 times. 4 times to get it sited, two kinda embarrassing misses and one bull moose. The moose lost.
The damnable thing kinda hurt to shoot.....

not me:

It has been raining a bunch here and I am getting serious cabin fever. The humidity is so high I don't dare start body work on my bike's tank. I used to be a real good model builder, cars, planes, anime figures, etc. Been 15 years since, but I picked up a Tamiya kit of Toyota 88C-V. I am excited, over something rather simple.

Oh... and I forgot to mention my LED flasher unit sitting on the gasket set, next to the new front sprocket.

Thats rad DrJ. Looks like a hellcraft wheel..?

I don't know, didn't see any markings on it. Very small drum brake, I'm a bit leery about using it. The fork is surprisingly light.

I have a better hub from an old Suzuki motocross with a 21" Akront rim. I'll try and fit that onto the forks.

Can any guess what this is??

Reverse Springer 35mm shanks... Meaning you could use any upper and lower tripples as long as it was for a 35mm fork legs!!..

Now THATS most highly Righteous!!..

Hey loco, have you ever rid'n a plunger framed bike. The rear wheel can feel super loose in corners. Those front ends feel the same way because there is nothing that ties the pairs of springs together to make them respond together. Can be sketchy... You better just send them this way on second thought. haha
