Post a pic of your latest purchase

No photo but I picked up a new 130 mig at work for $30. One of the salesmen had taken it out for a demo. Being a salesman he was clueless. Had it set up for solid wire and was using solid wire for the demo. But no gas! Brought it back saying it was a POS and faulty. As soon as I looked at it I realised what he'd done. I had $30 in my pocket and said I'll give you $30 for it. He said deal and wrote it up for $30. Get it home and as I don't have gas I changed the wires around and put it a spool of cored wire and bingo! I got new welder!

Hmmm I may leave her fairly stock because it may be worth something some day

I've never used a wire feed welder before. Last night I welded two pieces of old rusty exhaust pipe back together with out cleaning the metal and kinda guesstimating on the settings. Welded great. I was able to jump on the weld and it didn't break. Can't wait to get the gas hooked up and learn more about the settings/techniques.

Got a present in the mail yesterday. ;D

+2mm over to bring me to 69mm. Compression up from 9.3:1 to 10:1 and the valve pockets sit .020" deeper. Being forged, they're also stronger and lighter than the stock pistons. Each of these come in at 210g as opposed to stock's 221g.
