for some reason here Bentleys and Rolls are really popular. I don't go a single day without seeing one, or a Ferrari. It really sort of gets depressing after a while. I see them parelell parked everywhere too. Now I've lived in LA for a long time and got used to seeing exotics, but it seems they are viewed in Miami on a much more frequent basis. Probably because it's a smaller city though.

I was so into that stuff years ago. Had a friend who had a E36 M5 engine in his E28 535is. That was a cool car.


I've ridden in and drove lots of neat cars, but in the end I'm happy with my cheap little Escort Wagon. It goes from A to B as cheaply as possible.


With gas prices nearing $4.00 and soon to be higher (and never going down again), I'm more interested in MPG than HP.


Motorcycles and mountain biking is my adrenaline rush.
 
i hear you on that. I used to be heavily into cars. But after having my car basically trashed by getting hit so many times while parked I decided I'm never going to be into cars again 2 wheels is where it's at anyway.
 
I hear ya. I was a sports car enthusiast before I discovered sport bikes. I never looked at cars the same way again. That's not to say that I'm no longer a fan, though. I still dream of owning an AMG E-Class with rims! :) As for the price of gas - This morning, I put a little over 3/4 tank of reg unleaded @ $3.84 in my F150 and it cost me $75 Holy Gawd...
 
Got a super good deal on this guy. I live a mile from my work and got tired of paying 4 bucks a day to park downtown so I went to a friend of a friend's bike shop to get a bike. I wanted a low end commuter and he set me up with this $350 Norco VFR 4. They ordered it but the maker sent the wrong model. Long story short they gave me the $1000 model for $350.


Stoked.

Well, it isn't very exotic........ but with 4:10 gears my Cobra can hang with the best at the stoplight grand prix...... ;) ;) ;)

$3.84!! That's cheap. We're up to $4.30 for regular here in CT.
 
I'm sure we'll catch up to you soon! Prices expected to reach $5.00/gal by summer... Damn OPEC, China, India, and all the other so called developing nations.

They ought to give you some lube at the pump to ease the pain!!! High fuel prices are a bullet to the head of the already brain dead economy. Somethings gotta give, and the middle class has given more than enough! Good for bike sales though - roll in all the Chinese 49cc scooter craze again.
 
meh, until prices hit euro prices, I'm not worried. Sucks when my father or me need to take the truck out, but even if fuel is 10 bucks a gallon, filling up the 3 gallon tank on either bike will last us a week or two just puttering to and fro work in this city. heck, the train costs 2.50 a trip now anyway!
 
Gas prices are pissing me off lately. One morning it will be $3.99 and then later that evening it will jump to $4.19

It was $1.19? yesterday, today it was $1.25. It cost me about $60 to fill my mustang... Gonna be riding the bike alot.

Math for the Gallon folks G Rat paid 4.73 a gallon.. Last fill up for me was @ 1.31 or 4.95 a gallon with exchange we are over 5 bucks a gallon of gas. Thank god my 450 gets 55-60 mpg!
