Thanks! I just can't stand to see to see these old lumps put put to pasture. Ill likely restore this one to mostly stock and just use it for a commuter till it sells one day. Had a 4-1 Kerker type mega on it. I think that will go on the 77.

Soon you'll have to change your screen name to "Carp-E"

Ha! My dad said the same thing last night. Now I gotta sell some of my less important bikes to make room and funds for these... and yeah, im eyeing 2 more on craigslist right now. And another beer, yup. Watching that beer close to make sure it doesn't go empty.

Got a new tank bag today. The Joe Rocket Manta XL on the right (compared to my old Manta on the left). I was getting tired of trying to cram junk into the Manta. My wallet in between the two for comparison:

Sorry for the glare from the piping - and I don't know what the little specks are on the bag. They aren't visible normally.......

That's cool, are they magnetic? I've never used one before but have come close to vying one a few times

Yeah - magnetic. And the magnets are so strong that there are warnings on the bags: "Do not leave magnets attached for prolonged periods or in excessive heat" or something to that affect. They don't mess around........the magnets actually pull any metallic bits in the paint to the surface and look like fingerprints. Ask me how I know........

hooligan, wheres the yoke from? looks beautiful (except for the rough machining finish... needs a good polish ;)).

That's a Ripple Rock Racers top yoke from Bullit - a good friend of DO THE TON. They make them for a number of models with more coming I believe.

Yup it was. Way out past brevard.

The guy initially posted it for 450 but I guess he got a lot of interest so he bumped it up 100 bucks. I keep my eye out in the entire Southeast bust especially Asheville due to my relatives living there and I just moved away.

Yeah, I asked him why the increase and he said it was because its such a rare bike (gag me) so I says good luck and let me know how that works out. Few days layer he says back he'd take less if I bought it that night. So I go over, pointed out how not road ready it it (he said differently in talk) and get the bike for 400 bucks :)

jesus that is a good deal. and they have them for the 450/500... so damn tempting. probably just a bit too modern for my bike, but it would look fantastic with a few changes. This is what happens when I don't frequent the forums; I miss out on cool sh*t.
