I have a "real" cafe machine now!!

Sorry for the crappy dark garage pics. :p

I stripped the turn signals and finally added the dropbars and foam grips. I've instantly doubled the value!! ;) ;D

Also, sprung for this on Friday.

I'm such a sucker for "lime green".... :p :)

What size is that little sucker? I'd love to pick up a stroker like that.

Have to snap some pics later.

Just got word that the seller accepted my offer on a shop in town. Now, I'll have room to keep the 60 or so bikes I have in one spot, and stop renting storage units for them, plus a little room for some big boy machinery.

Bought this last weekend. All the wood had termite damage, and half the bolts snapped apart because of rust. Luckily, I have vinyl decking to replace the wood and a hardware store a couple blocks away......

Still need to attach the ladder and the support beams for the swings.

Father of the year! Good on you my man.

Gary

Ha! Buckeye, I'll suggest that to my wife and let you know what she sa......... never mind.

Gary, you say that now...... I already brought up that the green slide points down a hill, which then goes down the alley. This winter I might have to make a couple snow banks for launching sleds down that slide. It's all fun and games til somebody breaks a bone......

Hey Rich...

No Blood, No Foul ;)

A buddy of mines wife went to him one day and said "I need $2500 to buy a swingset for the backyard" (very similar to what you have)
He told her "What you need is to get the fuck outta my house!" LOL

Ha! Sounds similar to when my wife asked about getting a pool. I pointed out that we live a block and a half from the creek, and she's never even been there.

But she found the swing set for $100, and her dad actually paid for it. So right now I have about $10 in hardware in it, 2 cases of beer to pay my brother in law to haul it, and 12 hours of work into it. Not too shabby.....

Just picked up this one today. 1967 hodaka ace90. Second owner since 1969, was a machinist and did all performance upgrades in 1970. 100cc big bore racing piston kit, racing clutch and almost everything else.. A little rough but hey, its a 1967... Also scored these two manuals, a skid plate, and another luggage rack. ;D

Rich, this is why you're awesome. Always thinking about your buddies. I mean, how many guys buy a playset for their drunk pals to have fun on when they come over. You're really a grade A fella.

EDIT!!:: The checklist/packet you need can be found here: http://www.in.gov/bmv/files/Out_of_State_Title_Transfer_Packet.pdf AND you still need DOC#37964

Oh, and I got my title yesterday for the 1978 Kawasaki kz650 I posted on like page 489 or so.... I'm in Indiana like I said and bought the bike without a title and applied for a title in my name.

Ive been having a bitch of a time at the branches recently. By law they are no longer allowed to to bill of sale titles anymore, you have to send it downtown now and they haven't been as lenient as the branches use to be. I am in the middle of a battle over a title now and its not going so well.

They can do a bill of sale but it is a pain in the ass. see below.

DT250....year....maybe 74...75... no clue yet. I need to apply for the title here in Indy... waiting to see what Mark a few pages back was able to accomplish.

Keith, got my title!!

For everyone that wants to know. In Indiana you can get a title for a bike that you buy without one... It is practically the SAME process as before except now YOU have to fill out all the forms instead of the local BMV doing it electronically in the branch based on what you tell them.... The procedure is the SAME as I have posted on here in a thread http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=49207.msg547650#msg547650
The difference is now YOU have to fill out all of the 8 page packet and send it to Indy for them to process. If you are doing it from a bill of sale you have to write a letter, make a copy of it, send it CERTIFIED mail to the previous owner, they have to reject it and it gets sent back to you, YOU HAVE TO KEEP IT SEALED, then mail the copy you originally wrote with the SEALED envelope to the BMV with the 8 page packet.
OR you can do it WITHOUT a bill of sale and explain your situation on Indiana BMV form # 37964 that you bought it from someone without a bill of sale from someone who bought it without a bill of sale and there is no record of the registered owner... This is the way I went with it. I did NOT have to supply the copy of letter, sealed envelope, or bill of sale with the packet.
IMO this way is actually easier. I don't have to go to the BMV and I print the forms off from home and mail them in. I paid $15.00 for my title and it came in about 2 weeks... Send me a PM if you need help with anything.

There IS a loophole for EVERYTHING, you just have to find it. Generally no one will help you or know how.. I'm the test dummy and I have done all the guess work for you.. Now it's up to you to fill out the paperwork.

That's good news Mark. I know Jordan(JSJAMBOREE) is/did the same technique. Mine is slightly differnent and will essentially force the BMV to release it to me. I'll post more of the 2nd method once I get it locked down 100%. Long story short it involves the court system and simply a bill of sale and a vin check, file suit against bmv, judge says give me title....My pops does this a lot apparently(he's a lawyer) for a trucking compnay that has to repo rigs. I'm going to document it for those interested in Indiana.

Well I picked this up the other day. A friend wanted it out of his garage so I put it in mine. This will be the second project after I get my Cl 350 up. Does anyone know where I can get an OEM manual for a 1973 GT750 or at least a wiring diagram. I have searched DTT and I have not had any luck. The wiring has been spliced in many different places. Not to bad for $150.00
