Post a pic of your latest purchase

Less of a purchase and more of a gift... Thanks Adam!

Not sure what it'll end up on just yet, and the hardwood is old and in desperate need of restoration. Early 1900s I believe. If I owned the place instead of rented they'd be my first project.

Yeah, I know it's ugly and in need of insane repairs...but I HAD to. GL1100 name "Mariah" I figured worst case someone might need it for parts. It does turn over and all the lights worked :) But it's got 117 on the clocks (only says 17K but I can tell it's 117k) Plus 2 cool Hondaline helmets with intercoms!

Monza's got some new shoes too ;) Stumbled on a beautiful set of staggered Akronts completely redone laced to 250 hubs with stainless spokes and new Duro tires, couldn't pass them up.

Your just looking for a reaction now aren't ya.

Haha, how'd you know. Buy the right parts or bikes at the right price and its as good as or better than a savings account . . . they always have value.

Buckeye, you have way too much money and motivation ;)
Flanged alloys on baby Duc look real good 8)

WTF was I thinking!

And I have another 600 mile round trip to pick up the rest of the bulky parts, like frames, that wouldn't fit.

You and me both. They are a rare beast. Two 7 1/2s and one 5 1/2.

The 550 turns out to be 100% original 72 but needs crank seals. I have a pile of bits on order for that and then teh crank goes to Bill Bune for a rebuild.

One of the 750s is already torn down for a frame repair or two and the other 750 has to be rebuilt ready to sell in 4 weeks. I have a spare crank boxed up ready to ship and spare barrels bored ready to fit. Now "all" I have to do is to strip, clean, inspect, paint, & rebuild it.

They belong to a friend of mine who's moving and taking the opportunity to clean out all his years of accumulated Suzuki triple stuff. I'm only working half days (12 hours) cleaning and sorting through stuff. The pile for recycling is getting larger all the time.
