With B-rads endorsement, and that price, I don't think I could go wrong :)

Consider it sold ;)

Nice get - that's a nice unit, and you should still be able to find parts for it.

Arrived at the post office in Maine today, complete gasket kit for GL. I have OEM headgaskets already but I wanted all the others depending on what I find when I crack her open. Grabbing them tomorrow along with the Service manual for the wheeler and some DTT East Coast goodies from Member rocketman. Got 2 shirts, one for me and one for William and some patches and stickers. They all go in the box for Christmas for the wheeler project. If you want some DTT Swag, East coast specific he has a special on for the holidays.

I remember my Mother used to let us play with the plastic bags that stuff would come in. We used to have so much fun that we'd play with those things 'till we passed out. Then when we woke up, we'd do it all over again! Ah... Good Times... Good Times :D

Just picked up this BEAST ;D . 2013 Honda Metropolitan... Is there a build section for scooters? Hahaha...
It will be a fun one for putting around on for sure and I got it super cheap. Fuel injected too!

My youngest 4yr old son can start and rev my cbr600 on his own ;) , learned by only watching me. He wrenches with me too. He was so excited he hopped up on there and damn near started it on his own. It's 45 degrees and pouring rain and he wanted to go for a ride. Hahaha.

Mark, if you subtracted the words Honda, Metropolitan, and scooter from that post it would be an awesome post.

Hahaha... It was too cheap to pass up... I laughed my ass off at work reading that. People now KNOW I'm crazy. ;D

Nice one Mark. I'd love to have a scooter, I'm looking for a cheap one now for my son and I to work on, not having much luck finding one though. Are you keeping it stock or have any plans for it?

Unsure right now... Not much for ideas on the interwebs on customizing more modern scooters. I have an 83 garelli as well that's far on the back burner but that one will be fun to customize.
