As long as the lengths are equal. Based on fluid dynamics, if one length is longer than the other, then the longer length will flow faster and can even cause the other side to quit flowing altogether. I think that's XB's point. the 2x length will create the vacuum to encourage flow. Shorter can cause it to restrict.VonYinzer said:Little confused by this myself. Its gravity fed... All fluid should flow the same once it's full, no matter the length, right?
Agreed.Sonreir said:The flow of fuel through the lines is neither fast nor constant, so I'm still seeing how unequal lengths matter.
Yeah, I got it backwards. If you draw from two reservoirs into a wye, then they both have to be equal even at a drip, or it will draw from one more than the other. So, I have no explanation for what he meant.SONIC. said:Agreed.
Make one 6' and the other 2 and you're still going to get fuel to both carbs

Headlight looks blue in the pic for some reason, but its not.

The twingle was a 2/ made by steyr-daimler-puch. Best known was the 250cc sold here as an Allstate.
Twingle referred to the twin cylinder, single combustion chamber design, hence twin-single = twingle. One cylinder functioned as the intake and the other as the exhaust.
