Is that fairing a Dunstall, Tune?

I think so but have not verified, here it is lashed up... It's massively awesome!

It's "Avon" maybe. this is a repop or may be what I bought and got scammed but the seller said it's 40+ years old

The Avon and Dunstall do not appear to be the same. Very similar, but different.

Yeah and to throw another wrench in... Rickman made a version also. I hope it has some marking or tell.

If it's a Dunstall, it'll have Dunstall in recessed letters on the dash panel. Mine like that does anyhow.

I am pretty sure that Rickman fairings were made by the same people that made AVON fairings. There were a couple of styles like that out of the UK back in the sixties and I am pretty sure there are US made copies too. The taller ones I am sure were sold by Bill Chuck and were made by a third party like Birmingham Fiberglass or Churchgate Mouldings or someone like that.

It's not a Dunstall but then again I don't think that Paul Dunstall made his fairings. They were manufactured by someone else and I have no idea who the designer or mold maker was.

After a lot of reading, I think you can trace the majority back to Avon, who what and where the copies are done could be anywhere. I will look for markings and measure it up for a followup when it arrives.

Scroll down to see Read Titan fairing.

Similar, but not the same again. Look at the headlight bubble, mine almost ties in with the windscreen.

New wheelbarrow for mucking out ..... My old one was starting to show the telltale signs of corrosion.

3D / Rapid Prototype printer (highly rated) off e-bay, saved $500 over new.

I'm going to make my 5-year-old son his first Robohand, a "Raptor"

It will be powered by his wrist motion, and will be modified to accommodate his thumb/finger

I'm excited to get started, he's over the moon!

Well I can't think of a better reason for this machine... Good on ya GP.

Made an otherwise bad start to my day much better sir.

We've been waiting till the time was right, and this is it! The advancements in 3D printing are amazing, especially with prosthetic hands. Next design we're going to do, after we get the hang of it, will be the C3PO with "gold chrome" finish and sensory feedback (a bit more complex and expensive, but still affordable)
