Post a pic of your latest purchase

I got this kickass old school toaster oven for curing powder coat. My last toaster oven shit the bed, this one is larger and quite frankly in too nice of condition for this type of torture, but putting it on a counter is silly given how freaking huge it is.
Good score... I'd upgrade my little toaster to that any day. Might keep me from cooking parts in the kitchen oven.

I bought it off a Pitt student. Like 15 years ago I went to a party at the same house.

The oven is always convection so it doesn't have any elements inside the oven-space. Should help bake parts nice and even. I always struggled a bit with getting parts too close/too far from the element and the powder would cure unevenly.

Picked up a nice old Clarke tank for the XR250R. Less than half the price of new so I’m satisfied. Adds a bit of range while in the woods and looks cool.

Im pretty sure thats the same tank that i have on my xr400. I know mine is stamped "clarke xr250/xr400"

If it is the same tank, you'll likely only have to fuel up once a season ;)

At this rate I may not be filling the bike up till winter. There's a pile of parts waiting in SC for me. Tires, tubes, seat cover, fender, handlebar pad, tank, chain, sprockets, fork boots... maybe more. Hopefully in another month or two I can get back down that way without causing the family undue angst. I can cross the border with my work visa, but they're not keen on me flying just yet.

Can't say I was "in the market" for an enclosed trailer this morning, but my old man spotted this about 40 minutes from my place and it was too good to pass up for $400. I bought it from the original owners son, who bought it new in 1999. It's a 5x8 with a 5' ceiling. I'll have to extend the door up closer to the ceiling to get the dirtbikes to fit, but again for the cost of entry, I'm not too upset to have to do a bit of motification to end up with a cheap rig to pull the bikes and also be roomy enough to sleep in.

Great score! Instead of extending the door upwards could you just loosen the handlebar bolts and rotate the bars down to fit them in?
I can on most of my bikes, except the xr400. The gas filler cap on that is almost level with the bars.

Good get.
I would just make the top cap separate and put a big piano hinge on the front and some gas struts.
That way you can just lift the top up to load and unload without having to crawl around.

I was going to suggest making a hinged up panel above the door: open the door, flip up the access port, done, flip it down and the door holds it into place. HOWEVER, the hinged roof is pretty cool!

Man that hinged roof would be cool, but I don't think I'll go that deep into it. The more I look at it, I think I'll just make the opening bigger and fill the space with a removable panel, that way I don't even have to re do the door.

But where's your hack it up then scrap it spirit!?
I for one am disappointed.
