Yep definitely stacks unless I'm riding somewhere extremely dusty. Then I'll probably use a pair of Unifilters. That way I don't have to screw with jetting...and yes...that copper would be tits wouldn't it?! Aren't you getting some of those for Beat the Clock?
Re: Project Gretta: The evolution of a confused '74 360
had a guy come up to me today at a gas station and tell me that from a distance he thought i had chopped up an old military motorcycle. Kinda funny. But yeah, I think copper stacks would look look killer on your bike!
If my wife comes in and catches me one more time stairing at that photo of you and the bike she is going to start wondering about me ;D Hahaha. I can't stop looking at her! wish all the new photos were on this page ;D.

You know my opinion brother. Black spring. It needs to be the same color as the lower fork legs. The beauty of this build is the mixture of retro/modern. You have done with such class! Just my .02 so take it for what its worth.
Re: Project Gretta: The evolution of a confused '74 360
I think you might think about adding some yellow.. or blacking out the spring... BUT the spring is painted with flex paint as it sits now. If you paint it with black appliance peint, It will eventually flake off as it is not meant to flex as the spring does. Your either need to talk to your local paint supply store and either get "bumper paint" or a flex additive if you are mixing your own paint.
or add some little yellow bits => Brake stay arm, accel spark plug wires, maybe a yellow "honda" on the tank?
Re: Project Gretta: The evolution of a confused '74 360
This has been a topic before. Several of us have painted our springs with the appliance epoxy and I've not heard of any complaints. I have close to 1000 miles on mine and they look like the day i painted them. I figure he would need to take his spring down to bare metal but as long as he gives it some teeth he should be fine. I hit all my chrome with muratic acid first then sanded with about 160. The paint is so thick that it covers with no problems. I really think that giving it something to hold onto is key to its durability. As far as flex goes if it were going to flake it probably should have already. Who knows.

Honestly, I know this will sound dumb to most people here but inwould leave the spring and shock how it is, the yellow spring gives it just enough attention to draw an eye to the bike and breaks up the earth tones a little bit.....leave it for now till the entire bike is together then decide.
