Sleek & Sexy CL360

He's in Hillsboro too, that's why I'm always over helpin him out :p

but for serial you gonna join on some rides this summer Swagger?

That's the plan Amigo!
It'll come down to $$ though, my discretionary income is pretty minimal thanks to the current economic meltdown...whomever you blame. I *may* be selling off the bikes just to make ends meet. If I can keep my shop open I can always build more bikes..... :-[

OK-- So close! This weekend Jordan and I got the front end 90% reassembled. I went back through and shortened the bars up about an inch cause I didn't like how far out they stuck. I am waiting on a cable to come in, then these will be 100% completed:

Sorry for the crappy photo.

This week I am waiting on my tank flush kit, then it will be cleared-- I want that tank to pop... after that, it's just wiring and a tune up and it's ready for the Show N Shine section! I will be mounting my turns and building some rear sets (Troy was nice enough to ship out some materials for me!) throughout the next few months but she's ride-able without completing those. I probably won't post any more photos until it's completed, which might be another couple of weeks, depending on how my work schedule goes...

crappy photo? I think that pic is amazing. The bike is looking really nice, cant wait to see it in show n shine.

and jrk, Im far from show and shine, so dont feel too bad :)

That goes for me too!!!!!!!!

as a matter of fact, thats actually a pretty good example of basic photo composition. The flow is from top left to bottom right, the lighting is from the rear quadrant giving dramatic shadowing, there are two circles one of which is partially cropped out of the picture.... All things that have been found to be very pleasing to the eye in a photograph..

I guess the photo does look nice, I just meant it's not a very good detail shot of the work we accomplished over the weekend. Thanks, though! ;D

I also forgot to mention that I took the bathroom scale out to the garage today and weighed the leftover parts... This bike lost about 45lbs!

Only another week or two, fellas... went to have lunch with Jordan today for his birthday and I got the presents! We're hoping to finish wiring on Thursday and I have my fingers crossed I can drop her off for a final tune up and safety inspection over the weekend... Then I'll be on the road droppin' panties! ;D ;D ;D

there is a joke somewhere in there about a dude in a dress... LOL. Tank looks tits man

Jordan manages a big motorsports tuning & specialties shop out here and they have a paint guy. I get the hookup out there!

FINISHED!!!

Well... not exactly. Jordan basically did all of my wiring tonight. I still need to get some stuff finished on the tank over the weekend and I'm planning to drop the bike off on Monday for the final tune up, re-jetting the carbs, and any other safety issues and adjustments. But close enough to snap some photos of the final product.

So not the most advanced build, but this has been such a fun project, and I hope everyone has enjoyed following along.

Once I get her back from the shop, she'll be on the road. However, I'll be adding some stuff throughout the next few weeks/months... including getting the emblems ordered, a new chain, perhaps a mini speedo, mounting the turns, replacing the fork seals, and finishing the real rear sets. But for all intensive purposes, this is about how she's gonna look!

I do have to say a huge thanks to everyone who shared tips and advice, as well as giving their two cents throughout the build. Huge thanks to Joe, Chris, Troy, Jordan, BigBSBusa, and everybody else. This is just a teaser... for the rest of the photos, you'll have to check out the Show N' Shine section!
