When should the 2012 Summer GTG be held?

Excellent. I will most likely be there Friday late afternoon. Hopefully with Shane and Phil in which case we will reserve a cabin. If I'm solo I'll try and get a bunk house spot.
 
I plan to roll in Thursday, roll out Sunday Morning. And Dustin aka Little spoon, you're welcome in my bunk anytime.

Probably Thurs evening for me guys. I am a cheap ass and will camp, will also bring cooler of beer. Free for all til it is gone as long as people don't ride afterward. Also...... are you guys going to show if it rains? I ride to lots of BMW rallies and everyone rides in the rain, so I will be there rain or no. Maritime....... what size does your wife wear. I have many jackets ranging from size 4 women to 44 men. I might have one in her size which matches the bike. Since I will bring at least two bikes it will be a truck and trailer ride for me. I can bring lots of shit. Think that later on in the week I will do fluid changes on the Beemer and put a quarter fairing on it for the trip........ or maybe, if I get some cash, have the full vintage race fairing painted and put it on. See ya' thar'........ 8) 8) 8)
 
I'll probably end up riding up Friday early, early morning, maybe getting there about 10/11 am, and then staying Friday and Saturday night, leaving Sunday late morning. Not sure if I'll be camping, or sharing a cabin/bunkhouse as I snore like a damn chainsaw, but as the week goes on, maybe I can work something out.
 
Just so you guys know, camping is $20 per tent per night, so unless you have a couple people in there, it isn't any cheaper than sharing a cabin.
 
K. Now that dates are set. I will get to planning. Dewjantim you rock and I will let you know if I need to borrow a bike. I should be able to make this. Will know for sure soon if I am alone or with the wife. I will prob book a cabin if riding. If caging and borrowing bike I will tent. Cant wsit

Nope, cant do it. That is the same weekend as the Mods vs. Rockers cafe racer event in Charlotte. Ya'll have fun! Don't get taken out by any squids...
 
Ok, cleared it with the wife, I'll be there with bells on! Also, might be bringing along another rider from Jacksonville. He runs a KZ650 (semi-cafe). Still waiting to see if he's a definite yes or not. Hopefully I will know soon so as to not delay the reservation process.
 
Mike, put my buddy Ryan down for the bunkhouse too. He was there last year on the Kawa Concours. Thanks
