also a little update.... i am working on the wheelds for my own truck on free time... not sure if you guys know this but our shop repairs cracks, bends, and rash on wheels... i got these really cheap and had to take a big bend out of a wheel, and a good amount of rash... they also had false bolts in them... so i drilled out the false bolts, tapped every hole (56 total) and threaded in real bolts. this will let me color match the bolts. I am going to do color matched lips and bolts with flat black centers. here is a pic of the wheel after the bends where removed and about 1/2 of the way though removing all the rash that was in them. did have to add some weld/smooth out to get a flush finish. if anyone else does work like this i would love to see it, we really take pride in our wheel repairs!

these wheels are basicly the same as the stock set with a bit of an offset, i had new tires and wanted to keep them...

some pics of the mock up, you can see the heavy bend and rash in these

after removing some of the rough rash and fixing the bend... sorry about the toes in the pic hahaha but you can see how the bolts will play out and add an nice custom touch. i was able to also color match the car IMO perfect, so i am really stoked for the final product!

Custom masking allows for us to do some pretty unique 2 and 3 piece wheels. Our shop can also offer tear down and assembly of 2 and 3 piece wheels, also very rare for a powder shop to offer this services

Could you tell me the colorcode of that blue frame? Looks tits!

black chrome with ano blue top coat... really really important to hot flock your top coat and keep it at mid range pre flow, the color is very very hard to shoot, if you have never shot something like this before i would highly recomend shooting some test pannels first to see how it flows out and get an idea of the changes this powder.

haha wow. ill stick with blue then :p

if you do not hot flock the top coat you can play wiht the KV on the gun to get a solid spray pattern just make sure you have a solid EARTH ground for this, or it will never cover right, the powder in itself is very strange as when it flows out it does have light and dark spots but that is natural for an anodized powder

some pics from this weekends work... knocked out a customer truck, did full tear down, tire work, completely rebuilt the brakes, bled the system, new rotors, coated the wheels and center caps, and got him back on the road by monday!

HD oil tank, this customer had a nightmare experience with his last coater not cleaning out the oil tank and blasted inside the tank... well that was sucked into his motor and caused his motor to seize... we had this done same day for him so he could get his bike back together as he has not been on the road all summer. Sad the proper measures were not taken to ensure the insides stayed clean, would have saved him a motor

Cutting out the catalytic converter is detrimental to the environment and probably a felony to remove it.

I think I may just pack up my 60 spoke wheels and send them to you, you do some fukn awesome work!

Thanks guys!
Kamn, one thing to check out on those 60 spokes is if they are sealed or not, i know in the past on bikes ih ave built all the 60+ spoke wheels where in sealed hubs, if that is the case all the sealant has to be removed in order to coat them. Let me know and i am more than happy to work wiht you
