I had two small projection lamps for head lights. Cheap ones from ebay. They were plenty bright and functioned well but looked a little too spartan. Here's the next attempt. The bracket I made is not final quality but positions it about where I want it.

Also one shot of the ignition relo. I'll probably paint the bracket and ignition switch body black to hide them a bit more.

I was going to do the mirrors next but I need to get it off the stand to check fit against the tank. So on to the seat. The two symmetric seat panels will be something different. Either a quilted top stitch or a different material. I ultimately want to do alcantara but will do vinyl on this first attempt. The foam along the back edge was extended to just cover the screws that fasten the back of the seat.

First shot at the seat cover. I think with a little heat and massage I may be able to get the welting to conform to the fender a little better. I kind of want to try Alcantara but didn't have the nerve to spend that much on the first attempt.

First attempt resulted in THAT? Helluva nice outcome.
You're making so many elements of the machine from scratch, I have to ask, are you making your own oil and gas as well :) ?

Thanks! To be clear it's my first attempt at this particular seat cover, I've made maybe a dozen or so others. The front panel where the seat meets the tank is a new shape for me as well as the welting around the back. and the welted area extends beyond the seat pan to cover the fasteners. It usually takes me a try or two when I add elements I have not done before. No refining of any petrochemicals are in scope at this point ;)

People outside DTT aren't going to F'in believe you built this in your garage.

The first headlight bracket just didn't look right. The position was good but the styling of the bracket not so much. Here's take 2.
