where did you get your handle from?

i hail from the great city of milwaukee, wisconsin... the city of beer! or well, used to be. we only have 6 major breweries with 4 of them being national. the 16 is my jersey number, as i play outdoor lacrosse for the University of Wisconsin- Milwaukee.
 
My Drifter came from the fact that I rode a Kawasaki Drifter. The name just kinda stuck. I also use Ace Of Clubs which I got on Cafe Racers group on Facebook. Other than those, I have been called many things which cannot be mentioned in polite company!

Totally depressing, you beat me to it.

On another note; the origin of my nick is relatively ghey. Back in the mid-nineties I wanted a witty handle that communicated my affinity to ride/drive fast. Not being able to come up with anything I settled for the one I currently use. And the one I use on drift forums wouldn’t work here anyway.
 
The first initials of my first and middle name, plus my entire last name. 2001 is the year I graduated high school. It's the generated e-mail addy that yahoo gave me when I was 14. I've had it ever since and use it for every forum I visit.

Nothing special, but I'll never forget it.
 
i was playing Halo on X-box (back when it first came out) with my friends and i needed to come up with something. i was taking a little while to come up with a name, one of my friends yelled "your not that awesome!, dude, just pick something!" so, i did..awesome dude


kind of a lame story but, oh well.
 
Was working as a construction mechanic years back. After repairing a Lincoln welder, I started to lift it back to the top of a 3 story building when the chain sliiped. ***CRASH*** My supervisor was none to happy, but all the other guys thought that was they loudest crash they had ever heard. later that day, on the same job site, I was loading a Backhoe on to the trailor when the front tire went off the edge. The backhoe, with me in it, fell off the truck. My supervisor decided that my new nickname was Crash. From that day forward, everyone I know, including my wife, calls me Crash.


200 points for anyone that can tell me what brand the backhoe was. ;D
 
The easy explanation is; I'm a Cleveland Indians Fan, whose symbol is Chief Wahoo. My first bike when i returned to riding is an XS650, hence Wahoo650.

The more difficult explanation is that I took a quote from the film "I.Q." starring Walter Matthau as Einstein and Tim Robbins as a mechanic. At one Point TR's character takes Einstein for a ride on his motorcycle (old Triumph I think) and while speeding over a rise in the road Einstein (WM) shouts out WAAAAHHHHHHOOOOO! Which pretty much sums up how it should always feel to ride ;D.
 
mine is pretty boring as well.... back when i was addicted to playing Quake III online Nosepick was all I could come up with for a nickname… it’s been my online handle ever since.
 
my first two letters in my last name are oz(which is my nickname) and well i guess you can say im just magical ::) which makes me a wizard of sorts...lol ;D
 
My wife's family is Czech and back when we were just engaged, an Aunt of hers thought I should be an 'honourary' Czech too (I'm Scottish). She thought that adding 'ski' on the end of my name would do the deed. It didn't work with my last name so.... Drewski it is! :eek: ;D

It's stuck with me for 32 years and I kinda like it! 8)
 
back when i was a full hessian there were only a few of us that really listened to death metal. we became the Death Cult Militia or DCM. oddly enough it was taken so i added spikes on the end. i used to surf with 6 inch aluminum spikes screwed to the shoulders of my wetsuit. DCMSpikes.
