Hahaha, I do the same thing. The other day she came with me and sat in the car. I returned almost an hr later (I went in for a bolt. At least that's what she told me I said) and she was gone. She walked down the street and was waiting impatiently for me there. She wasn't too happy but she says it must be a guy thing and that she understands. lol

oh man you've got it bad like me haha. What's fun is to start conditioning them for when they're older. Started taking mine in when they were 10 or 12 yrs old. Would have them help me dig through the bins and little boxes and I'd say, "now see this, we can use this to build this or make that." haha Drove my wife crazy but now I think she understands why I was doing it. Both boys are grown now and they both think outside the box fairly well.

Oh yea the minute it arrives it's going on. Hopefully sometime this weekend

Re: Willow...Tank Progress

My 2yr old sits w/ her. My 8yr old will come in. But after 5 minutes he wants to go out and read a book or play his ds. He'll help tear down but thats it

Troy, I've been away from the pc and haven't been able to check this since page 45!!!

Glad to be able to check it out now. Great stuff going on here.

Re: Willow...Tank Progress

Troy, this bike is going to dominate the bike blogs when it's done. Your attention to detail is great. Can't wait to see more progress.

Re: Willow...Tank Progress

This is the first thread I've look at in the bob and chop section. Amazing.

I think it will fit the style of the bike perfectly but I'll let you all be the judge:

Re: Willow...Tank Progress

I really appreciate the props fellas. Glad to have your support and thanks for sticking around. The compliments keep me going so thank each and everyone of you!
I've been working my tail off in the hay fields so I don't have a lot to update. Been tinkering here and there when I have 15-20 minutes to kill. I switched out my worn tappet covers for some that I salvaged and cleaned up. The others were in pretty rounded and in bad shape. Also been adding some brass washers under bolts to add a little detail here and there.
The biggest news is that Jim (achemy upholstery) and Doug (beatnic, the bad ass suspension guru) rode a total of 5 hrs (2.5 each way) to bring me my seat. Even though I could only hang for less than an hour they still came down. It killed me to watch them drive off and knowing I was about to head to the hay fields instead.
Anyhow, The pics don't do this seat justice. Its freakin killer! Thank you Jim! And thank you Doug for leading him to me!

The tank is still not bonded. Once its done I can prep it, the fender, and headlight bucket for paint. Still need to wire, and finish a bunch of other little stuff. I'm trying desperately to get all my hay in by the end of the month. When I'm not in the fields it seems I'm fixing equipment. Having a hard time keeping everything going this year. So Anyhow, I apologize that progress is going to be painfully slow for awhile.

Re: Willow...Tank Progress

So you know, tomorrow when Im at work I'm grabbing a ton of brass washers and stealing the shit out of your idea. That seat is perfect. Hope yer hay doesnt get rained on before its bailed and in. Easy to loose a lot to mould.
