to be honest i am not 100% sure... i would think that it would but have never put that to the test... problem is the diff in heat from a oven is diff from that of a bike, so i could not really test it by sticking it in the oven. to be honest... if it does, cool, if it doesnt cool... it is kind of a win win on this one. i do think that trying to blue the pipes would be cool as hell though
Ended up doing em in VHT Flat black. I really like the way they look. Once photo bucket gives me my account back I'll post pics.

Look's excellent Troy, really coming together well. And the 205 I thought I was, man, just stepped on the scale and I am hitting 220! got to get some exercise for sure. Can't wait to see it in paint now!
Lovin it.
Damn bro you've been hitting the beer and ice creme like me? I think if I cut some of that kind of crap out I'd probably drop quite a few.

Wow Troy... Been a while since I've seen your progress. That thing is incredible! Burlesque dancer getting railed by a vintage Singer sewing machine comes to mind. Yummy...
Lou
Good to have ya back brother. Missed ya.
Haha that's perfect. The sewing machine has to be an industrial job though ;D Appreciate the props Lou

hahaha. Thanks man. I'll tell ya what. Go to Gretta's build log and stare for a few hours and you'll forget all about her sister Willow. I used to do that very thing back in 9th grade when I went out with a girl but had a major crush on her older sister. Worked every time ;D ;D

Oooooh, time to pay the $30! Hahaha.
I'll be damnd if I pay photobucket anything. The fuckers piss me off! I'll spend that much needed money on parts!
hahaha.
Sorry fellas but as many of you already know, it looks like I exceeded my photo limit for the month. Dumb ass photobucket. No way am I going to Upgrade after they just cut me off like that. Fuckers! They sent me an email and said I'll be back on line the 14th.
Anyhow, After staring at the pipes for two days I changed them a bit. Not too much though because I like the way the fit and they have a cool factor of being CB 7750 header pipes. There was something I didn't like and that's how they met the curve just behind the motor. So basically I made them a little shorter. What it did is allow the bend in the frame behind the motor to be seen. I ran into the same problem on the other side with the kickstand being too long and covering up that same bend. It drove me crazy until I moved the mount forward. Its funny how something so small can make a huge difference (in my warped mine anyhow ;D ). I think you all will approve. You can thank Photobucket for lack of a picture...The fuckers anyhow.
So I ordered brass brake and clutch levers. Thought about em for over a month. finally decided I wouldn't know unless I try em on. I'm fighting that restraint thing. Its tough to not just go hog wild and add a bunch of brass. I don't want to cross that line.
Anyhow, the last few days I've been doing small things here and there like cutting down cables. I had been looking for old bicycle metal cable housings but no luck what so ever so I gave up. Just cutting down what I have.
also on the way is leather grip wrap. It should match the seat.
I need to find a single pull throttle tube. The one I had I cut the tube too short and screwed it up. Sad thing is I dont know why I did it and even worse cant remember doing it...getting old sucks!
Kiley said he may have one so well see if it fits.
So anyhow, installed the chain and started installing the rear brake linkage though I still need to paint the brake linkage arm at the pedal. Stuck some brake/clutch levers on so I could measure cable length. Started soldering ends on the cables but having a hard time getting my old rusty cables clean enough to accept solder. So that's about where she is at. Nothing picture worthy but I'll bitch at photobucket one last time because they are such a pain in the ass.
