If you or a parent are or were in the armed service, check into USAA - their motorcycle rates are generally pretty good.

I have had progressive on my 81' 750 and the rates there have been good. I think I end up about $11 a month.

Look into Hagerty insurance company. When I used to collect vintage cars, they were the jam. Full coverage with an agreed value, which means you can set the value as a restored vehicle instead of the company setting the value. The rates are really good, because technically they only insure recreational or show vehicles, that only get driven less than a few thousand miles each year, but they never once confirmed mileage with renewal.
They also insure modern vehicles, and offer multi-vehicle discounts, so you could put all of yours on one policy.

USAA is almost totally out of the motorcycle biz. They only insure bikes in about 4-5 states now. I've been with USAA for 20 years. I have my ZRX grandfathered in but the rates are not competitive. They would not let me add my wifes bike or my HD. They farm bike insurance out to Progressive now. Progressive rates were pretty good but they will not insure a custom bike with a state issued title...ie...my HD. So I'm out looking for somebody else to put my bikes under.

Wow, that blows and weird. I use AmFam for everything and pay $31 a year.

So Allstate called me because I couldn't finish the quote. They don't quote vintage bikes online because they want to appraise the bike first. I'll take it up there when it actually runs.

This is bike is being a huge pain. Carbs keep leaking. Keep tweaking and they keep leaking. Replaced 3 of the 4 needles but I lost one so I'm waiting for it to come in the mail. Got it to fire over 2x but didn't stay running. I think the battery died from me testing things during the wiring job. Urg... I just want to ride it.

What did you set the floats at? Also any hairline cracks in the float bowl vent tubes?

I've got the float all the way up to 15. The it's defiantly over flowing the from the over flows. I don't think it's the bowls. They hold water without leaking.
