This is a good looking bike. I love when people put a more modern style wheels, tires, and forks on old bikes. Any word on the front hub??

So pricing is in for hub. I will need to make 10 of them at $324 each.

I should have the the first one in a few weeks to test then the rest in a month or so. I will keep it posted.

I like the path this bike is taking!
How did you remove the paint from the tank?

Thanks,
Paint was removed with a grinder and orbital sander.

Saturday I took the motor to be soda blasted. I was on the fence about powder coating the case because I would have to take ever but and bolt off. The soda blaster fella said he could really get everything clean if I took it all apart. I decided to take the plunge and rip motor apart right there. The driving force behind the madness is how much I hate engine paint bubbling up when gas gets on it.

I wasn't pleased with the grey color I used last weekend to powder coat. It looked a bit green next to the black. I purchased a silver to do everything with. I'm pleased with the silver

Had the carbs soda blasted when the motor was blasted. They came out a little cleaner but still needed some work. Decided to completely dismantel the carbs so i could powder coat them. masking was a huge pain but it looks like putting them back together is a bigger pain.

I got the color scheme from goingsmoto bike.
