How much clearance do you have? I have very little.

Maybe I should try taking it out. I never even tried it without. What did you have machined? I had nothing machined so maybe I'd run out if thread at the top.

I had a whole new axle made, bushings and adapters to run the front spoked rim as well at both front calipers. You should be fine without it I would assume, I made no modifications other than the conversion bearings.

Got my light in doing some test placement with assistance from my wife

It's going to be tricky to use this light with the stabilizer in the mounting spot but ill make a bracket

So I'm torn between using this gsxr wheels and going spoked.

Gsxr rims are lighter, less Maintanence, don't require inner tubes, look different and have disc brakes in rear already.

Spoked looks cooler.

If I go spoked I will use 17" rims to keep the bike at its current stance.

I found a cb550 rear hub laced to a 17 x 3.5" rim. Ill remove the 3.5" rim and use the custom spokes to lace to a 4.5 17" harley rim and use the 3.5" rim on the front laced to a harley glide hub. The custom spokes is what's going to get me.

yep buchanan will get ya, they are like the only people in the business, and their prices match that.. i think my front spokes ran me about 100, but that was bare metal ones cause i am powdercoating them anyways.

im running into a little issue im looking at right now on my build, the front offset sprocket cycleX offers is a 530, but my supermoto rear wheel coming is a 520 sprocket.. any interest in making another sprocket when the times comes to make yours?

I had not planned to run 520 sprocket and with thinner wheel setup I'm hoping I can use a more simple setup. Can you run a 530 in the rear?

possibly, would have to be a custom setup cause ive never seen a 530 on a dirtbike, and my rear wheel is from a cr500.. the supermoto wheel comes with a new rotor and sprocket so thats why ive been pondering what im going to do.. fabbing a 530 sprocket on the cr hub will probably be the easiest way i would assume no?

My guess is that a 530 on the rear would be easier since the front sprocket has a splined bore.

I was told I'm fine cause you can run a 530 chain on 520 sprockets cause the pitch is the same. At least that's what I've been told.

I guess you can because the 520 sprocket would just be 1/8" narrower than a 530 chain I believe. I don't know how that would wear though.
