But I managed to burn up the Boyer ignition unit... So I'm kinda bummed about that right now. How is it if I chose to run the bike without the ignition unit? And what wires must go to the coil?
Need some help with the wiring on my 72' XS650. I'm wondering which of the wires from the alternator goes to which of the wires from the regulator/rectifier. Also I'm using a Dyna coil. On the left-side of the coil i hooked up the red wire (power) Boyer ignitor unit and on the right-side i...

- Wont rev past 6000-7000RPM (sputters/stalls)
- Dies when I give full throttle
- Reacts fine on the throttle with choke ON
- Spark-plugs are dry-fouled

Also I have another question. I'm actually in the process of making a brat-bike. The making of the seat-pan isn't really an issue, but I'm quite new to the process of adding a...
I want to strip the paint off the gas tank on my CB 350 and just go for the "bare metal look". Can I just sandblast the whole tank? Im kind of afraid that the sandblasting will leave holes and cracks on the tank though. Will this be an issue?
