Hey how's it going, I jsut bought a couple new coils for my 71 cl450. I was wondering how to wire them. I have the diagram in front of me but I dont know what to connect to the positive and what to connect to the negative poles of each.
So i bought a cl450 off someone and i decided to redo the wiring since it was falling apart. Apparently who ever had it before had done a bunch of custom wiring and used different colors for everything. What is the best way to go about fixing all of this?
Hey just bought these new coils and im having trouble being able to mount these on the bike (71 cl450) The mounts it came with dont exactly match up to the original spot where they go, any suggestions?
So I bought these bad boys last week and I figured I could get them on there somehow but after a couple days of headaches im open for some new ideas on how to mount them to the bike. (71 cl450) >:(
Hey guys I have a 71 CL450 and the pipes are in pretty good condition except the mufflers, which are extremely rusty and one has a good size hole in it. I wanted to just chop them off and just have a straight pipe, but im not sure if it needs the back pressure. And if so then what do I need to...
Hey guys I have a 71 CL450 and I currently have it all apart in my garage. Before I decided to restore the bike it I was having difficulty shifting (I had to basically force it into each gear) I was curious what you guys thought the problem could be from, I wanted to try and fix any issues with...
Hey :D I have a Clymer Manuel and it doesnt say anything about the torque specs for the clutch plates (referring to the 4 screws with springs on the outside of the plates) does anyone know how much you are supposed to tighten those down?
Hey guys new round these parts 8). Ive got a 71 CL450 that i have been restoring slowly but surely and recently I came across this lovely gem of a problem. I was wondering what the best plan of action is here, whether to try and get it out and replace it or a less invasive procedure... Thanks...
