I've got a fiberglass tank that had gas sitting in it for far too long. anyone have any ideas what i can use to wash it out with. its not too bad inside, but it keeps clogging my pilots. something that will cut the varnished gas, but not harm the resin. diesel? fresh gas? thanks in advance...

i want to make some carbon fiber parts. i have the cloth, i can make a mold (gel coat or plaster), but im getting interested in this vacuum forming with PETG. this seems like such an easy way to make a mold to lay up the CF in. this is what i mean by vacuum forming...

ive been without a camera for over a year now. got a KZ650 in that time and been toying with it ever since. recently finished up a few things and still in the middle of some other things. here are some photos cuz we all like photos. lots more work to do.

im hoping to ride my KZ650 to CO next week. should be an adventure. my destination is at 9,000ft in Breckenridge. anyone know if the altitude is going to mess with jets at that point? anyone? am i correct that the air is thinner so i would want smaller jets? less air= less fuel

just did some work on my 78 kz650. new Dyna coils and spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new brake master cylinder, new sprockets, new chain, new "heavy duty" clutch springs, new fork seals, new inline fuel filter, adjusted cam chain tensioner(sounds much better), some paint, and fresh fluids...

i need two shafts to use as pulls for my front door. im going to mount them vertically one on each side. looking for something about 12"-15" long 1 1/8" - 1 3/4" dia. they need not match. i was thinking of output shafts or maybe cams. something with gears, splines, lobes. . . obviously...

is there any reason not to use sportbike passenger pegs for rear sets? maybe they are not strong enough? they seem to be cheaper and you would have to figure out your levers, but seems liek a good starting point something like this...

my '73 CL175 has dented wheels. they are 36 spokes. does anyone have a list of swapable wheels? honda,suzuki, kawa. . . .? i only need the wheels, no hubs or spokes. preferably cheaper than expensive. all of the ones i saw on ebay are about $75 each shipped. thank you

i have ABS 7A and 15A fuses on my Honda 360. i can only find AGX style fuses. the AGX are fast acting. does anyone know if these will work to replace the original ones? thank you.
