This weekend I completely stripped my CB350. My intentions started innocently enough, I needed to pull the engine so it could undergo some internal work but once the engine was out I used the most dangerous words in motorcycle mechanics:

Now pulling the motor is...
Hi all,
The engines are different of course, but are CB350 parts generally the same across both the twins and the fours? Specifically I'm wondering about seats, but I'm curious about the rest.
Christopher
Cyclewerx did a leakdown test on my right cylinder that had no compression. They`re reasonably confident it needs new piston rings. It`s high season so they don`t have time to pull the engine and heads but they`ll do the valves once the engine is out. I planto do the rings on both sides while...
Hi all,
I'll post more details soon, but I just bought a 5' x 7.5' landscape trailer from TSC (Tractor Supply Company) to tow my bike and sidecar behind my 1986 VW Vanagon Westfalia Syncro Camper. The trailers are $100 off until the June 19th. Here is the ad from the back cover of the current...
Hi All,
I'm looking to buy a Honda CB450K1 gas tank, preferably black but I'll take ANY colour. Condition does matter but it doesn't have to be mint, ideally with attached hardware, MUST have chrome inserts.
Thanks,
Christopher
OK this might be heresy but having to reach under my tank all the time for my ignition switch is a real hassle. Why'd they do this in the first place? Are there kits available to do this? Has anyone done a really cool job of it?
Namasté

Hi All,
I'd love a chrome tank for my 1973 Honda CB350 G. Ideally I'd like the same or larger capacity but not at the expense of my "two up" seating. So does anyone know where to buy a chrome tank that will fit a CB350 G?
Thanks,
Christopher
Hi All,
I was driving on the highway today in fifth gear and the bike (stock 73 Honda CB350G) had difficulty maintaining 60 mph in fifth gear. I recently installed a sidecar so I thought perhaps it was too much weight and just dropped to fourth and I was fine. After a stop to pick up my...
Hi All,
I just bought a sidecar so my dog can come riding with me. Here's the original ad:
I still need to hook up the brakes and lights and play with the alignment a bit but it's on the bike now and I love it. In a test ride my dog (in his doggie leather jacket and googles) got more...
Well over the last few months, and in particular the last couple of days, I have benefited from the sage advice of many of the people on this site. I'm happy to be able to give something back. The following is my experience importing a vintage (15 year old plus) bike from the US into Canada.
I...
I'd like to find affordable bike insurance in Ontario. My particulars are:
- I am a 39 year old male. turning 40 in August.
- I have been licensed since 1985 on cars and 1994 on bikes.
- I have been continuously insured on cars for 22 years, but I've not been insured on bikes since 1995.
- I...
Hi All,
After a seemingly long search I was finally able to find a 1973 Honda CB350G K5 for sale, not too far from Southern Ontario (Freeland Michigan to be exact). I still need to get her certified but apart from the odd bump and scratch, some pinholes in the right exhaust, and a bum flasher...
Hi All,
I need to get my newly acquired 1973 Honda CB350 certified in Ontario. If bikes are anything like cars, some shops will be more nit picky than others. Now I certainly don't want to sacrifice safety in any way, but don't want to be taken for a ride either. Can anyone recommend a shop in...
I'm in search of a cheap reliable entry level bike (I sold my last bike over a decade ago) and all my research thus far has pointed me to the seventies era Honda CB350 twin, but I’ve had difficulty locating one anywhere close to Southern Ontario.
I’m preferably looking for one that is running...
