    my fiberglass seat project

Thanks again Josch! I was wondering what would be a better method of laying down the fiber glass. Should I cut it up into strips an lay it down or should I cut it into patterns to fit the shape of the pan and overlap it that way.

    my fiberglass seat project

thanks for the input guys. josch, thanks for all the advice. hopefully I'll have some time this weekend to get started on everything. A couple of questions, by sealing the foam, is that as simple as covering it with tin foil is there more to it than that. Also, is there any advantage over using...

    my fiberglass seat project

ok so after reading many posts on here I thought I'd give it a try at making my own fiberglass seat. Initially I was going to go with florist foam but thought I'd try something a little different. Most people have one of these laying around I then removed the foam liner inside the spare...

    How does this look?

I think it looks good. Like noel said keep the foam thin, help retain that aggressive look. an w/out the side covers. don't forget to post pics of the finished product.

    CB350 Burning Oil, I thnk?

my first guess would be that in the process of rebuilding, oil covered the outside of the engine an is now smoking when it gets hot, like when you spill oil on your exhaust pipes. if that's the case, not that big a deal, it will eventually burn off an stop smoking. I'd check for any oil leaks or...

    two up cafe seat??

I wanted to do the same thing, but the Giuliari seats were way more than I wanted to dish out. My advise is to find some pics of the seat you like, Carpy's Tornado is what I based mine off of, and take your stock seat to a experienced upholstery shop an have him do the work. It's how I got...

    Rusteco

Ok, so it's time to clean the gas tank that's been sitting in my garage. Initially I couldn't decide between Kreem and POR-15, then I came across this, http://www.oldrice.com/gas_tank_cleaning.htm, on Rusteco. It sounds good but was wondering if anyone has tried it on here. Thanks
