Well these bollocks perchs keep cracking on me, this time i bought them and simply tried to put them on and they cracked.
heres the first one that i modified
and heres the new unfucked with one
so i used another brake perch and flipped it
anyways enough bitching, lets get productive.......
Battery box and new battery, rearsets mounted
and my new headlight switch and kill switch, soon to have water proof covers installed
and my wheel are getting the new tires put on WOOHOOO finally
That would be great but i dont know how i would make it work since the exhaust runs right through there, maybe around the battery box....hmmmmmmchrisf said:The tube in those pics above was bent with a pipe bender--not a tube bender. you can tell by the decrease radius on the inner and outer walls. In this application, it should be fine.
On my RD400, I had my rear tube bent with a proper tube bender and mine is perfectly smooth all round. It is also one piece. I think it cost me $40 shipped. I bet I could get another bent for the same price. Oh, mine is 1" .065 wall DOM.
